Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
National Defence Academy (NDA) - Army Wing
- Total Posts: 208 (198 for Male, 10 for Female)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th Class (10+2 pattern) examination from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit: Unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2007 and not later than 1st July 2010 are eligible.
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
National Defence Academy (NDA) - Navy Wing
- Total Posts: 42 (37 for Male, 05 for Female)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th Class (10+2 pattern) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit: Same as for the Army Wing.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the standards prescribed for admission to the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.
National Defence Academy (NDA) - Air Force Wing
- Total Posts: 120
- Flying: 92 (including 02 for female candidates)
- Ground Duties (Tech): 18 (including 02 for female candidates)
- Ground Duties (Non-Tech): 10 (including 02 for female candidates)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th Class (10+2 pattern) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit: Same as for the Army Wing.
Naval Academy (NA) - 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme
- Total Posts: 24 (21 for Male, 03 for Female)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th Class (10+2 pattern) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit: Same as for the Army Wing.
