This year, the Banda University of Agriculture & Technology (BUAT), Banda, is the conducting body for UPCATET, facilitating admissions into its own programs alongside those of Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology (ANDUA&T) Ayodhya, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology (CSAUA&T) Kanpur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUA&T) Meerut.
The online application window for UPCATET 2026 will open on March 30, 2026, and candidates will have until April 30, 2026, to complete their applications and submit the required examination fees. A dedicated correction window will also be available from May 01-02, 2026, for any necessary edits. For BVSc & AH Course: 17-25 Years; For Other UG Courses: 16-22 Years (as on 31/12/2026). No age limit for PG Courses.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Undergraduate Courses (B.Sc, B.Tech, B.F.Sc, B.V.Sc & AH)
- B.Sc Agriculture: 10+2 (Intermediate) with any of PAG (Physics, Agriculture, Geography), PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), or PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) subjects.
- B.Sc Horticulture: 10+2 (Intermediate) with any of PAG, PCM, PCB, or PCMB subjects.
- B.Sc Forestry: 10+2 (Intermediate) with any of PAG, PCM, PCB, or PCMB subjects.
- B.F.S.c (Fisheries Science): 10+2 (Intermediate) with PAG, PCB, or PCMB subjects.
- B.V.Sc & AH: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) / PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) with English as a subject, and 50% aggregate marks in each group subject.
- B.Sc Community Science (Girls Only): 10+2 (Intermediate) in Arts Stream with Home Science as a Subject / PAG / PCB / PCM / PCMB.
- B.Tech Biotechnology: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PAG, PCM, PCB, or PCMB subjects.
- B.Tech Agriculture: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PAG, PCM, or PCMB subjects.
- B.Tech Dairy / Food Technology: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PAG, PCB, or PCMB subjects.
- B.Tech Sugarcane Science and Technology: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PAG, PCB, and PCM subjects.
- B.Tech Food Nutrition and Dietetics: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PHS (Physics, Home Science), PCB, and PCM subjects.
